TraumaLink is a volunteer-based emergency response system reducing the number of deaths and injuries on the highways. Our service model utilizes an emergency hotline number and a 24/7 call center with local first responders trained in basic trauma first aid, provided with essential medical supplies, and dispatched to crash scenes by SMS messaging. WHAT WE DO
Injured patients are much more likely to survive if they receive treatment quickly. Fortunately, within the first hour after injury, simple medical treatments can be highly effective at preventing paralysis and death. This critical window is known as the “Golden Hour” and is the period of time during which TraumaLink First Responders work. LEARN MORE
MOU SIGNED WITH DIRECTORATE GENERAL OF HEALTH SERVICES
A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Non-Communicable Disease Control (NCDC) program of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) and TraumaLink “to facilitate post-crash care for road traffic injury victims in Bangladesh”. In this capacity, TraumaLink will support the government’s efforts by working in close collaboration with the NCDC Program of DGHS to expand post-crash management more broadly, whereas DGHS will provide necessary technical support to TraumaLink.

TraumaLink is currently working with the NCDC-DGHS under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare on a project “Development and piloting of scalable model on post-crash response to reduce morbidity and mortality from road traffic injuries in Bangladesh” through the support of the World Health Organization, Bangladesh.
Important Crash News
A severe incident took place at Mohammad Ali Bazar, Feni Sadar, Feni
With the support of Local community members, Highway Police, and the Fire Brigade, TraumaLink volunteers attended a terrible incident at Mohammad Ali Bazar, Feni Sadar, Feni. All about 28 persons were critically injured. TraumaLink’s Volunteers Iqbal Hossain (Milon), Khurshid Alam, Md. Anwar Hossain, Eliash Ahmed, and Shovo Mojumder immediately reached the spot and provided first aid treatment to those who required it and sent the severely injured persons to Feni Sadar Hospital.
